Product review and production adaptation
Product review and production adaptation are an integral part of our offering – tailoring solutions that meet quality requirements without compromising timelines or budgets.
This requires close collaboration. That is why we are often involved early in the process, contributing our experience and knowledge of material properties and performance to develop the right design, drawing and production method for the required quality, function and cost.
We also develop our own bending machines and automation solutions when production demands it. This include customised solutions for welding, assembly or packaging, where robotics work alongside traditional manufacturing processes.
Prototypes
Many new products start life as prototypes in our workshop. Most are produced quickly and cost-effectively using our CNC-controlled bending machines.
Once we have found a design that works, we can industrialise the solution in our bending machines or develop custom tooling for higher production volumes.
We work in SolidWorks and can handle a wide range of file formats, including IGES, STEP and CATIA. Using our 3D scanner, we can verify the shape and quality of prototypes at an early stage. We also have our own 3D printer, allowing us to quickly produce prototypes and simple inspection fixtures.
Reliability & high quality
We work with the latest CAD/CAM and ERP software – from the first 3D models through to the finished component or product.
We follow Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) to ensure high quality throughout production. All Delex facilities are certified according to ISO 14001 and ISO 9001.
In-house development & innovation
Innovation at Delex goes beyond customer projects. The Toolflex storage system is one of our own innovations, covered by several patents and developed here in Forsheda since the 1980s.
